The congregation at Christ Lutheran Church is a fellowship of Christians who have accepted God's call to make disciples of all nations. Christ Lutheran Church is a confessional church which teaches the scripture as the inspired Word of God. We proclaim in our worship that Jesus Christ redeemed us and declared us righteous because of what He did on the cross. Through God's Word and sacraments (Baptism and the Lord?s Supper), Christ Lutheran Church shares the Good News of God's grace so that people may know Jesus is their Savoir.
By confessional, we mean that in our services, we state the Lutheran church's public statement, detailing what we believe, teach and confess based on the Scriptures. In the form of a "creed", we simply say back to God what He tells us about Himself and his salvation in His Word.
Therefore, when you attend Christ Lutheran Church, you will experience a liturgical (public proclamation) form of worship.
