Bible Stories |

Twice a month, the students participate in Chapel time with our Pastor, where he leads themin song, prayer and a short Bible story that is age appropriate. In addition, there is Bible time in the classroom, where the students learn about God, our Heavenly Father, who made us and takes care of us; Jesus, God's Son, who lives on this earth and saved us from our sins by His death and resurrection; and the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, who helps us to know Jesus and tell others about Him.

Music |

One of the highlights of the children's day is music time. Twice a week, they have a separate music time with our school's coordinator, who is also one of the church's organists and a former Kindergarten teacher at the school. This is in addition to the regular classroom music time they have with their teacher. Music is a large part of our program because it provides the children with a form of learning that is both fun and entertaining. Fingerplays, "Jesus" songs and familiar children's songs combine to teach children rhythm, listening skills, and an enjoyment of music. Periodically, some rhythm instruments may be used. Our music time is designed to foster an appreciation of music for a lifetime , as well as being FUN.
